A Group Exhibition at Little Africa Paris

"BIRTHMARK" invites visitors to engage deeply with the double entendre of "color," which encompasses not only the rich, diverse shades of Black skin but also the vibrant use of pigment in art. This exhibition is presented as part Centre Pompidou Le Paris Noir exhibition happening from 19 March to 30 June 2025.

Featured artists in this compelling collection include: French-Senegalese Painter Ketsia and Photographer Akil Carter, from Springfield, Massachusetts.

In addition to the exhibition, "BIRTHMARK" hosted a series of special program of events including: an intimate dining experience for our community members, an artist talk where the attendees can hear directly from the artists about their creative processes and an artists led workshop where attendees can participate in an hands-on workshop focused on color theory and expression.
